Dude Ranch Weekend

October 27 – 30, 2016

Enjoy learning the ropes from cowboys and cowgirls who have been around ranching all of their lives. You can participate as much or as little as you want. Feel free to use one of our horses or bring your own. All levels of horse and rider are welcome to attend.

From gathering cattle to cutting in the round pen, trail riding to barrel racing... we have something for every rider.

October 27-30, 2016

Usually we eat breakfast at 8:00am and the day unfolds from there. We’ll be trail riding on the wide open spaces of the V6 Ranch, gather cattle, practice sorting, cutting and roping. This will surely improve your’s and your horse’s ranch skills.

Horse Facilities
The V6 Ranch will be offering 45 - 10' x 15' portable pipe corrals for horses. Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to reserve one. Participants can also bring their own portable corrals, or horses can be trailer tied or high lined between trees. Hay will be available for purchase but it is recommended that you bring your own.

Fall is beautiful in Parkfield and the weather is generally in the 80's. Bring layers as the evenings and mornings can be cool.
